I am not so sure when the last time was that I sat down to a movie that really did not have much of a plot and a actually enjoyed the show. With that said, this was one of those times. From the start to the finish, this movie is solid action. Fist are flying, guns are blazing, and people are dying. And it feels like you are in the chase.
What chase you ask. Well, the movie starts out with Smith, played by Clive Owen, sitting on a bench. Entering the picture is a pregnant woman in a yellow dress, played by Ramona Pringle, running and crying. Chasing her is a gunman. Smith is intrigued and follows. Soon the place is crawling with gunmen and Smith takes matters into his own hands. After the fight carries on for a few minutes, in walks Hertz, played by Paul Giamatti. Hertz and his men are after the woman and her unborn baby.
The soon to be mother decides that it is time to go into labor and Smith now has to be mid-wife as well. After delivering the baby. Smith, the mother, and the baby head for the stairwell. In the stairwell Smith discovers that the mother has taken a bullet to the head and is quite dead. He leaves the dead woman and takes the child.
His path then leads him to a brothel where he finds a lactating prostitue, Monica Bellucci, played by Donna Quintano. Monica refuses to help Smith and he leaves. Soon arrives Hertz and his henchmen. Hertz entices Monica to tell him where Smith and the child are. When she does not tell, he starts to shoot the place up. Right before he puts a bullet in her, Smith bust back in. They fight and Smith shoots Hertz. But it does not end there. Smith and Monica take the baby and make a run for it only to be tracked down again. Then Smith gets mad and the rest you have to get the movie and see it for yourself.
