I recently posted this on my blog, http://www.katsreviews.bustablog.com, but I don't know if the pic or the hyperlinks will copy:

The reports are now coming from sources other than the tabloids.  They are saying that Paul Newman has checked himself out of the hospital so that he can die at home with his beloved wife Joanne and his children.  The stories aren’t quite clear, but I can’t find any story denying it that is more recent than a month ago.

Here is one story that reports that Newman’s death is imminent.  Another story, from beliefnet.com, seems to confirm this news.

Jewcy.com may have said it best in their recent article, “Living or Dying, Paul Newman is a Mensch.” I can’t think of very many actors about whom we can say that they will be leaving not only Hollywood, but the human race, a better place that they found it.  Heck, there aren’t that many people in general we can say that about.  He’s a true mensch&heckip;a good and admirable man.

Go in peace, Paul.  Go with God.  And thanks for everything you gave us.

Seldom a person comes along that can touch so many people in so many different ways. Mr. Newman is one of those special few, that did so gracefully and kept out of the spotlight letting the deeds speak for themselves.
